Capturing Events
Events are the core of Day of Plenty. Every photo, checklist, note, or inventory log is an event — a permanent, immutable record of field activity.
What makes up an event
Section titled “What makes up an event”Every event captures:

| Timestamp | When the event occurred (automatic) |
| Location | GPS coordinates (automatic) |
| Photos | Visual proof of work done |
| Worker | Who captured the event |
| Workflow | Which job this event belongs to |
| Thing | What site/equipment the work was on |
Capturing from the field
Section titled “Capturing from the field”- Open Day of Plenty on your phone
- Scan the site’s QR code (or select from your workflows)
- Follow the checklist requirements
- Take photos as prompted
- Submit — the event is now permanent
Offline mode
Section titled “Offline mode”No signal? Day of Plenty works offline. Events are stored locally and synced when you’re back online. You’ll never lose capture because of bad reception.
Event types
Section titled “Event types”Day of Plenty supports multiple event types:
- Photo events — images with time and location
- Checklist events — completed requirement items
- Note events — text observations
- Inventory events — materials used or moved
Viewing events
Section titled “Viewing events”Events appear in the workflow timeline, the thing’s history, and the global event feed. You can filter by date, worker, thing, or workflow type.
